KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System
As its name suggests, the KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System is a system that controls the operation of robot cells. It was developed by Ahi Robotik.
Built on many years of observation, KAPTAN was developed to remove the difficulties users face when operating robot cells and to increase the efficiency of robot cell use.
KAPTAN has various hardware and software components, and the system runs on an Industrial PC platform.
KAPTAN uses light, sound and on-screen visual alerts to ensure easy and correct use by the operator. With carefully selected and designed button and lamp configurations and screens, the user is properly warned and guided to resolve problems quickly. The operator can directly see why the system has not started, why a running system has stopped, and what is expected of them.
The KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System is independent of the robot's software and brand.
There is no system automation code on the robot. KAPTAN checks all required conditions (Poka-Yoke, safety, etc.), then gives the job to the robot and waits for it to finish.
Because there is no automation code on the robot, faults on the robot and on the system can be identified separately. As a result, servicing the robot or the system becomes easier. The KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System is a standard system.
It easily covers all the functions needed in daily use, and even more. Being standard, KAPTAN – the product of extensive engineering work – comes as an economical part of the robot system. With the KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System, changes to fixture automation and operating scenarios can be made on the screen without modifying the PLC program. Previously prepared PCCL files can also be loaded via the USB port. This avoids additional time and engineering costs.
The KAPTAN Robotic Cell Control System is offered as standard on Fabrikaynak. It can also be applied to systems with different layouts, such as spot welding systems.
