PCCL (Production Cycle Command Language)

PCCL (Production Cycle Command Language) is a language that organizes workflow scenarios in robotic cells. It was developed by Ahi Robotik.

PCCL commands were chosen to be close to everyday language so they are simple and easy to understand. Its operation is based on a step-by-step technique.

Instead of checking all events and part presence at once and giving a single approval, the production cycle is followed and controlled step by step.

Throughout the cycle, the tasks and required checks, Poka-Yoke requirements, and the stage at which the part will be processed by the robot are programmed with PCCL.

In short: the loading stage, the robot welding stage, the intermediate steps required during welding and the unloading stage at the end are programmed in a step-by-step language, and the execution of these steps is monitored and checked in every cycle, guaranteeing the process.

Poka-Yoke gaps caused by constant part-presence signals when equipment such as sensors fails are eliminated.

By including part bins in the system signaling and adding the necessary buttons, sensors and lamps, PCCL can make the operator follow a mandatory part pick-up and loading sequence, creating the desired working ergonomics.
